The Pachyderm Family

We met the Pachyderm family at Bandipur National Park. Bandipur is on the Mysore-Ooty road (about 75-80 km from Mysore towards Ooty), and one of my favourite weekend getaways.

We stayed at a place called Tusker Trails. It has a few cottages, and a swimming pool to boot (but as usual, no lifeguard - but that's another story). They were a bit pricey, but I felt it was worth the stay. Be warned though, many places have different prices for Indians and foreigners.

Hey, good shot, animal in natural habitat; and cool green (after last month's rain) too! (I was there last week) :-)
