Daffy Duck at Washington Monument
Found this cute little fella drying his (or her?) feathers on a warm fall evening near Washington Monument.

The Pachyderm Family
We met the Pachyderm family at Bandipur National Park. Bandipur is on the Mysore-Ooty road (about 75-80 km from Mysore towards Ooty), and one of my favourite weekend getaways.
We stayed at a place called Tusker Trails. It has a few cottages, and a swimming pool to boot (but as usual, no lifeguard - but that's another story). They were a bit pricey, but I felt it was worth the stay. Be warned though, many places have different prices for Indians and foreigners.

Sweet-Toothed Monkey
This monkey found a chocolate bar lying on the side of the road. It deftly opened the cover, and munched away happily.
No, it's not the same monkey which was in the other photo :D

Cute Monkey
At first, the little fella was scared to take anything from strangers. But soon he (she?) realized I was a friend :~) I gave some biscuits which he chomped away happily.
And for the first time, I used Gimp for doing some image processing. *gosh*

Family
A family. But where did papa bear go? I hope he's not behind me!
Sadly, the image is a little out of focus, though.

Bear!
A big, bad, old bear at Yosemite. This one's from my uncle's Canon EOS 10D. Everytime I went a little closer to the bear to take a better photo, my aunt and uncle would scream at me to get back :)
